A quick reminder of tomorrows umpiring craft night. The test and rules can be dowloaded from our Contacts & Forms page. Please have a go and bring them with you tomorrow, it’s always a good night and provides a great opportunityto better understand the game and take the first step to becoming a qualified umpire.

As you should hopefully all know by now, we have been successful in our application to the Royal Mail Sports Foundation for assistance. I received a letter on Friday advising they would be paying for 30 new tops. I will be ordering these as soon as possible after some consultation with the rest of you. My understanding is that while they will pay for the garments themselves, we are to cover the cost for embroidery of the club logo and numbering.
As such, match fees are more and more important. Out of 22 players on Saturday I received 5 players match fees. Club subscriptions cover SHU subscriptions, use of the pitches, coaching up until Christmas and membership and use of the club itself. We need match fees to be paid each week as we need to cover the cost of future coaching, post match hospitality for visiting teams and new kit. They’re £4 for adults and £2 for students and juniors.
I would really appreciate your help with this, as it will really improve the club for all of us. Cheers.
