A couple of things; Giffnock 4s have dropped out of Division 4, so the 2nd XI will have a couple of days off this season. *UPDATE 1/9, BSC Bluesox have also pulled out of the same division but have been replaced by Clydesdale 7s* Also, there are a few rule changes coming in this season, the main one being a green card now carries a minimum 2 minute suspension. Full list of changes can be seen under the Contact & Forms page.

That was quick, Celia has got right back on the case and has arranged a club day for Saturday 28th August at the clubhouse. The rugby boys play their first game of the season at 3pm so come along and show your support. This will be followed by extensive drinking, giving Suzanne a bit of a send off before she moves to the big(ger) smoke.

Well done to the mixed squad this past Saturday who, at the GHK tourney, were beaten in the semi’s after some great group results AND won the tug-of-war competition. A great day was had by all.
